About me
After finishing my studies in cinematography at the Film Academy in Amsterdam, I started my first production company with my former business partner in 1997, specialising in advertising production.
Producing many TV commercials for a wide range of brands and agencies, a second production and post-production company was born in 2006: MacGyver Amsterdam.
This was quickly followed by the start of a Turkish production company: MacGyver Istanbul, focussing on both local commercial productions and line production services.
Running my own production and post-production companies enabled me to gain valuable experience in all facets of film production, client relations and (post-)production techniques.
After leaving my companies in search of new challenges, I proceeded to do freelance content production work.
In 2014 I started Version Affairs with fellow producer Annemarie Semeijn, who has since left the company to pursue a life outside of the advertising community.
Through Version Affairs I can be hired as a (freelance) creative agency/brand producer and/or provide full service versioning (creative adaptation) services.
